A Day of Introspection
The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College organized a guest lecture on the topic ‘Role of Teachers in Moulding Social Outlook of Students’ on 12th January, 2015.

‘A Teacher has not only to instruct but also to inspire the students’
The main aim of the lecture was to resonate the spirit of the teacher trainees to fulfill their national duty. The teacher trainees were motivated to impart education in such a way so that the students recognize the equality of men and women, discard all caste exclusiveness, pride, untouchability, communal distinctions and antagonisms and to strengthen ‘the dignity of the individual and the unity of the nation’, as our constitution proclaims.
The lecture ended with a group discussion between Ms. Rashmi Jain and the teacher trainees. The lecture was valuable and enriching for all the teacher trainees. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Meghna Manchanda, student of the Department of Education, Patna Women’s College.
